YOU are racing for Her.
Slavery was abolished in our nation more than 150 years ago, yet slavery still exists today and it is thriving within the United States. According to the Department of Justice there are more than 300,000 American children at risk of being trafficked each year and the average age of entry is 13 years old.
Each participant in this year's event will have the opportunity to race in honor of a survivor; a young girl that has survived the devastating reality of sexual slavery in our world. Upon arrival on race day, each participant will receive the name and story of one survivor they are racing in honor of. We will also place a large sticker on participant's T-shirt to acknowledge the child being honored.
